CLOWN MINISTRY AND HELPING HANDS MINISTRY
Ministry Chair: Deacon Joe Bourgeois, SSS
Phone: 440.442.3410
Purpose: The Clown Ministry. We, as a ministry of clowns from Saint Paschal Baylon, are called to proclaim and be a sign of the loving presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through our actions of clowning we will recognize every person’s dignity and uniqueness. We will strive to develop the meaning of unconditional love to all in this Ministry. Our intentions are to share and express genuine care for one another as members of the family of God. We are committed to bringing love, joy, and meaning into the lives of whom we touch through clowning. Our goal is to make God happy by making His people happy. When you make my people smile, YOU MAKE ME SMILE!
Commitment: All are welcome ages 9-99. Participation variable depending on the individual’s desire to participate in the various activities such as parades, nursing home visitations, and other church and school functions.
Purpose: Helping Hands Ministry. The Helping Hands Ministry is a group of Saint Paschal parishioners who has a heart to reach out to the poor and homeless in the Greater Cleveland area. We help those in need by providing food, clothing, toiletries and sharing of ourselves. Our monthly schedule has regular outings. We work in conjunction with the Clown Ministry to help those less fortunate and spread God’s peace, love and joy.
Commitment: Meetings are held once a month and on an as needed basis. Involvement is as little or as much as individuals prefer.
